Nobody’s Home… sometimes children have to go into foster care when there is no parent to look after them.

Description

In this story, a young boy is not coping with the overwhelming and constantly changing circumstances he finds himself in, due to his mother’s absence. With a little help, he learns his safe place can be found by looking inward,
for no matter where he goes …this will always be his true home.

Nobody’s Home… sometimes children have to go into foster care when there is no parent to look after them. In this situation, children may feel all the feelings associated with big changes that create a sense of grief and loss: abandonment, denial, anger, sadness, depression and more. With so many changes happening their strong feelings can erupt. Rather than behaviour management, they need to feel loved, secure and learn inner life skills so they are able to face an uncertain future with resilience and hope.
